Your Local Tour Guide from Dublin

Hello, my name is Jason Neeson and I was born and live in Dublin, Ireland. I have been a taxi driver in Dublin for 20 years and I have meet so many people from all over the world. So many visitors that come to visit Ireland like yourself, are interest in Ireland's history, culture and heritage but sometimes I was asked questions related to my beautiful country and I couldn't answer them correctly, so I returned to education in 2015 and started to study Irish History.

I was hooked straight away and every spare moment I was reading or researching some event or historical moment from the past In 2018, after a few years of enjoyable studying, I received a Diploma in Irish History. Now when I had passengers/visitors in my taxi, and a conversation would start about Ireland, I was more informative and knowledgeable about my heritage and culture. So many times I was told that I should be a tour guide and not a taxi driver. These words were mentioned to me so many times that I now had new mission, to become a tour guide.

In 2018, I enrolled in Liberties College, Dublin to become a tour guide within the tourism industry in Ireland and after a year of training and studying I was rewarded with a certificate and badge that would qualify me to be a guide anywhere in Ireland. I combined my education qualifications and my knowledge of driving in Ireland and created my tour guiding company, Neeson Ireland Tours.
